APPLE TOFFE

This is one of the impressed recipe I watched on television.  Its different, a nice treat for kids.

Ingredients:

1. Green apple - 1
2. All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
3. Egg - 1
4. Water -  to prepare the batter, as required 
5. Salt - a pinch
6. Seasme seeds - 2 tsp
7. Brown sugar or regular sugar - 1 cup
8. Water - 1/2 cup , to make sugar cyrup 
9. Ice cubes - a bowl full
10. Oil - for deep frying.

Method:

1. Take a wide bowl, break and pour the egg .  Beat nicely. Add the flour and salt. Add water if it is required. The cosistency of the batter should be like a bajji mix. 

2. Peel the outer skin and the seeds from the apple. Dice the apple into cubes.   


3. Dip each cube into the batter and deep fry it in the oil. Once it gets fried to golden brown, transfer it to tissue paper to absorb extra oil.


4. In the mean while, dissolve sugar and water. Heat the dissolved sugar solution in the medium flame. Cook until the solution caramelized or to golden brown and started to bubble on top. Remove the sugar solution from the fire.


5. Dip the  fried apple cubes, in the sugar solution one by one. Make sure, that the cubes are well coated on all the sides. Transfer the dipped apple cubes  to the ice cubes bowl. You can use chop sticks or 2 forks for this dipping process.


6.  Now transfer all the sugar toffes to a bowl. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the toffes.
