Now a days we people are trying multi cusine recipes, in our house. But its not possible to buy masala powders of each cusine's recipe all the time. Punjabi dhaba is a famous outgoing place for almost everyone, so I would like to share you the punjabi garam masala which you can add to your punjabi chole or other authentic punjabi recipes. Preparing home made masalas have their own aromatic, so you too fragnant your house people.
Ingredients:
1. Coriander seeds - 5 tb
2. Cumin seeds - 5 tb
3. Black peppercorns - 2 ½ tb
4. Black cardamom seeds - 2 ½ tb
5. Green cardamom seeds - 1 ½ ts
6. stick cinnamon - 2 Inch
6. Cloves - 4 - 5
7. Whole nutmeg - about 3/16
Method:
1. Toast coriander and cumin seeds lightly in a skillet.
2. Pour onto a plate and allow to cool. Place into a grinder along with remaining ingredients.
3. Grind to a fine powder. May be done in more than one batch. Place in a tightly sealed container and store in the *freezer*.
